If you hold 'extras' (also called ancillary or general treatment) cover, your health fund will usually pay a rebate towards each chiropractic visit. We have HICAPS on site, so you claim on the spot and only pay the difference — no forms to send off and no waiting for reimbursement.

How much will I get back?
The rebate depends entirely on your fund and your level of cover — it might be a fixed dollar amount per visit or a percentage of the fee, up to an annual limit. We're registered with all the major Australian funds including Bupa, Medibank, HCF, NIB and AHM, and process your claim through HICAPS at the end of your appointment.
What to check with your insurer
- Is chiropractic included in your extras cover?
- How much do you get back per visit — a set amount or a percentage?
- What is your annual limit for chiropractic, and how much have you already used this year?
- Are there any waiting periods before you can claim (common on new or recently upgraded policies)?
- Does your rebate differ for an initial consultation versus a standard visit?
